Onboarding Complete

App page

The Onboarding Complete page is where you land immediately after signing up for DataLug (or after returning from Stripe Checkout for a paid plan). Its only purpose is to confirm the account is provisioning and tell you what to expect in the next few minutes.

What's happening behind this page

While you're reading the confirmation copy, DataLug is:

  1. Creating your account in the registration ledger.
  2. Seeding the workspace with the demo project, sample connections, and the default environment(s) for your plan.
  3. Provisioning the hosted runtime VM (Professional / Teams / Business plans only - free trials use the shared runtime).
  4. Sending the welcome email with the verification link and the one-time sign-in code.

The default environment is named DEV and is assigned the shared runtime until your private runtime finishes provisioning. The first time you sign in, the Dashboard's Getting Started card surfaces the remaining setup tasks.

If something's stuck

If the page sits on "Setting up your workspace..." for more than a few minutes, the provisioning step is the most likely culprit (cloud-provider rate-limit, region capacity, or a transient API error). You'll get an email from DataLug Support with a deployment reference number if anything fails or stalls; reply to it and the team will investigate.
